Step back until you can figure it out on your own

Keep your uncertainty to yourself and move on

Come Close, Lord Jesus

Lord, revive your Church. Where we have grown distant, uncertain, or afraid to ask, draw us back close to Jesus. Give us humble hearts that listen, honest voices that pray, and love that stays near when we do not yet understand. Revive our first love and our courage to come close, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your People Lean In Again

Father, when I am confused, keep me from pulling away. Help me stay close to Jesus, speak honestly, and wait with trust until you make the path clear, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Stay Near When I Do Not Know

Set aside a quiet time, draw close to Jesus, name the question in simple words, and ask for the next faithful step rather than pretending to know more than you do.

Pray the Question You Carry

Bring these to God: the habit of hiding uncertainty; the desire to keep close to Jesus; the courage to ask what you truly want to know.

Growing in Honest Closeness

Pray for a friend or family member who feels unsure or overwhelmed, that they would draw near to Jesus, speak honestly, and find peace while they wait.
