Lord Jesus, Receive Me

Lord, revive your Church so we do not grow sleepy while waiting for you. Give us tender hearts that keep seeking you, humility to accept that your way is higher than ours, and courage to follow your lead even when the road ahead is hidden. Wake us from complacency and make us faithful witnesses of your presence, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Seeking Church

Pray by naming one place where you feel unable to go or change what is happening. Ask Jesus to steady your heart, teach you to keep seeking him, and show you the next faithful step.

Pray When the Way Feels Closed

Bring these to God: your desire for Jesus; your frustration at not controlling the path ahead; grace to trust his timing; and a willing heart that keeps looking for him.

Learning to Keep Seeking

Lord Jesus, when I feel your absence and cannot follow where you are leading, keep me from despair. Help me to keep seeking you, to trust that you are not far, and to rest in your care until you make the way clear, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

With Me in the Waiting

Pray for: someone who feels Jesus is distant; courage to speak hope to a person who is wondering where he is; and a patient heart that keeps pointing others to Christ.
