The notice is meant to lead to belief or trust

The notice is there to explain why the event must happen

Keep relying on the word that was given while you wait

Decide belief only counts after results are visible

Treat the delay as proof the word was mistaken

Try to force the outcome so waiting is unnecessary

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to live by my own strength. I turn from my sin and trust you to save me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. Thank you for telling the truth before I can see the outcome. I confess you as my Lord and ask you to lead my life from this day forward. Amen.

Trusting the One Who Speaks First

Father, revive your Church to trust the words of Jesus before we see every outcome. Where we have become impatient, fearful, or cynical while waiting, make us calm, obedient, and ready to believe when your word unfolds. Let our lives show that you are faithful before and after the moment comes, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Church That Trusts Your Word

Lord, when I do not know how things will unfold, teach me to rest in what Jesus has already said. Keep me from panic, from second-guessing your word, and from trying to control the future. Grow in me a faith that waits with confidence, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Steady Faith in the Waiting

Pray by naming one situation you are waiting on, thanking Jesus for speaking ahead of time, and asking for the grace to trust him until it happens.

Pray While You Wait

Thank God that he does not leave you in the dark. Thank him for Jesus' wise timing, for words that steady faith, and for the way fulfilled promises deepen trust.

Thanks for Foretold Mercy

Pray for someone who is waiting on God's word: that delay would not become doubt, that patience would grow, and that when the moment arrives they would recognize God's faithfulness and believe.
