Jesus keeps his own things separate from the Father

Treat your time, gifts, and relationships as entrusted to God, and use them to honor Jesus

Keep your faith private so it does not affect daily decisions

Use your gifts mainly to prove that you are in control of your own life

Honor Jesus only in religious settings, since ordinary life is separate

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I have sinned and tried to live as if my life were my own. I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to make me yours and teach me to live for the Father. Amen.

Belong to You, Lord Jesus

Lord, renew your Church so we live as people who belong to the Father and to the Son. Where we have acted as owners of ourselves, teach us surrender. Where we have failed to honor Christ, make his life visible in us again. Unite us in true devotion, and let Jesus be honored in his people, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church a Place of Honor

Father, thank you that nothing truly ours is outside your care, and that Jesus shares in all that is yours. Thank you that his life can be honored among your people. Give me a grateful heart and open hands, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Shared Belonging

Name one thing you hold tightly — time, money, influence, plans, or relationships. Tell God you want it to belong to him, and ask for one concrete way to use it to honor Jesus today.

Pray Over What You Hold

Pray for: the church to reflect the mutual belonging of the Father and the Son; believers to live with open hands and humble trust; places where Jesus is not yet honored to become places of visible grace.

Honor Christ in His People

Bring these to God: the part of your life you still hold back; the gift, possession, or role you want to keep under your control; the desire to let Jesus be honored in ordinary things.
