If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and that my heart has not been faithful. I need your mercy more than I can say. I believe you died for my sin and rose again. I turn from my sin and from every false way, and I confess you as my Lord. Bring me from darkness into your truth. Amen.

Come to Jesus with an Honest Heart

Lord, where your Church has traded courage for fear and truth for secrecy, awaken us again. Keep us from following the path of betrayal or from trusting power more than your Son. Make us a people who walk openly, love faithfully, and bear no weapon but truth and peace. Renew us for Jesus' sake, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People from Fear and Secrecy

Name one tense place in your life. Ask God to keep you honest, to keep you from using pressure or hidden motives, and to show you one peaceful next step. Hold this verse before him, and ask for a different way to walk today.

Pray Through a Tense Situation

Bring these to God: any urge to act out of fear; any habit of using religion, power, or image to cover the truth; any place where your loyalties are divided; a desire to be known by honesty instead of performance.

Bring Hidden Motives Into the Light

Pray for leaders, church workers, and public servants: that they would not use authority to harm, that they would seek truth over control, and that they would protect people instead of surrounding them with fear.

For Leaders Who Carry Authority

Father, thank you that even in a scene of betrayal and weapons, your purposes are not lost. Thank you for Jesus' steady courage and for the light that no darkness can overcome. Teach me to trust you when the night feels heavy, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
