Keep a steady pattern of meeting with Jesus and other believers

Keep faith private and irregular, since regular gathering can make you too visible

Use knowledge of where believers meet mainly to manage what happens there

Treat shared gatherings as optional whenever your schedule gets crowded

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and have not followed you faithfully. I need your mercy and your saving grace. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord. Gather my life to yourself and keep me close to you. Amen.

Come to Jesus and Be Kept Faithful

Lord, revive your church to meet with you faithfully and to love one another with real devotion. Keep us from empty closeness and hidden betrayal. Make us steady, loyal, and joyful in following Jesus together, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Gathered People

Father, thank you that Jesus often met with his disciples in a real place and in a regular rhythm of life. Thank you for the gift of shared fellowship, familiar places of worship, and the grace of being formed together. Help me treasure those ordinary meeting places, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Ordinary Gathering Places

Pray by naming one place, time, or relationship where you want to keep meeting with Jesus and his people. Ask God to make that pattern steady, to guard your motives, and to help you be faithful where you are known.

Pray for a Faithful Rhythm

Pray for: loyalty in the places where you feel most at home; protection from using church knowledge in harmful ways; honesty in every hidden motive; and grace for believers to trust one another wisely.

Guard Our Familiar Places

Father, keep my heart close to Jesus in the places and rhythms where I gather with your people. Guard me from divided loyalty, and make me faithful when I am near what is holy. Teach me to meet with you gladly and consistently, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
