Jesus already knew what was about to happen to him

Jesus asked them who they were looking for

Move toward the hard thing with honesty and courage

Avoid the issue and hope it passes unnoticed

Pretend you do not know trouble is coming

Leave the burden to someone else if possible

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, you knew what was coming and still came near, and I need your mercy. I admit that I have sinned and cannot save myself. Lord, revive your Church with the calm courage we see in Jesus. Where we delay, make us willing to step forward; where we hide, make us honest; where we fear the cost, make us faithful. Teach your people to face hard moments with steady hearts and clear words, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, I pray for anyone I know who is walking toward painful news, hard decisions, or an uncertain future. Give them peace, courage, and people who speak truth with love. Let them know they are not alone, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
