Lord, revive your Church with fresh awe for your fulfilled word. Where we have treated Scripture lightly, make us tremble and trust again. Teach us to see Jesus as the faithful one whom your promises point to, and make our lives match what we read. Stir our hearts to obey, to believe, and to stand firm, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, when circumstances feel confusing, help us remember that your word is not shaken. Give us patience to trust what you have spoken, courage to obey it, and peace when we cannot yet see how it will unfold, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
