Return to your ordinary place and keep walking faithfully

Refuse to go back until everything feels exciting again

Treat the return as a failure and give up on the next step

Assume the only faithful response is to stay at the intense moment

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and gone my own way. I need you to bring me home to God. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you alone. Forgive me, receive me, and lead me as my Lord. Amen.

Come Home to Jesus

Father, revive your Church when we have drifted or grown restless. Teach us to return to the places and callings you have given us, to be steady in ordinary faithfulness, and to follow you with whole hearts. Wake us up again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Bring Your People Back to Faithfulness

Name the place, duty, or relationship you need to return to. Ask God for peace about that return, then ask for one faithful step you can take today.

Pray for the Next Right Return

Bring these to God: the urge to stay at the high point, the temptation to drift, and the desire to be faithful where you live, work, and belong.

Faithful in Ordinary Places

Lord, watch over those who are going back to their homes today. Give safety on the road, peace in the house, and a quiet trust that you are present in every ordinary place, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Safe on the Way Home

Lord, thank you that you give people homes, places to return to, and rhythms of ordinary life. Help me receive those gifts with gratitude and to be faithful when I am back there, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
