Lord, Meet Me in My Empty Places

Lord, when your people are tired, discouraged, and ready to stop, wake your Church again. Give us humble honesty when our labor feels empty, and teach us to keep going together instead of isolating ourselves. Renew our trust in you, restore shared purpose among us, and let our work bear fruit for your glory, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church in the Empty Night

Pray by naming the place where you feel like you came up empty. Ask God for wisdom about what to do next, and ask for the courage to keep walking with others instead of pulling away.

Ask for the Next Step

Father, when my efforts seem fruitless, keep me from despair and from quitting too soon. Give me patience, humility, and steady hope. Help me work faithfully with the people you have placed beside me, and teach me to trust your timing in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Strength for a Long Night

Thank God for the people who stay near when work is hard and results are thin. Give thanks for friends, family, and fellow believers who say, in effect, that they will go with you too.

Thank You for Companions

Bring before God the task, ministry, or job that has felt empty. Ask him to provide wisdom, open doors, fresh strength, and the right harvest in his time.
