Receive the One Who Provides

Lord, revive your Church to notice real needs and to serve with simple, faithful care. Where we have become busy, self-protective, or impressed with ourselves, teach us to prepare what is helpful for weary people. Wake us up to humble hospitality and generous compassion, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your Church a Place of Welcome

Thank God for meals that arrive when you need them, for practical care from other people, for the way simple gifts can carry deep love, and for the reminder that nothing is too small for his attention.

Thank You for Ordinary Provision

Pray by naming one need that feels plain and practical, then ask God to meet it with exactly what is enough. After that, ask for eyes to notice how he may already be providing in simple ways.

Pray About Your Real Need

Pray for a person who feels far from home, someone who is hungry in body, heart, or spirit, and the grace to place real help near them, not just words.

For Someone Who Needs Care

Father, teach me to notice what people truly need and to respond with simple, honest help. Keep me from waiting for dramatic moments, and make me willing to bring bread, presence, and practical kindness where they are needed, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Teach Me to Offer Simple Care
