Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Leviticus 16:18:1 ⧉וְיָצָ֗אveyatsaand he will go out Leviticus 16:18:2 ⧉אֶל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֛חַelhammizbehakhto the altar Leviticus 16:18:3 ⧉אֲשֶׁ֥רasherwhich Leviticus 16:18:4 ⧉לִפְנֵֽי־יְהוָ֖הlihfneiyahwehbefore the LORD Leviticus 16:18:5 ⧉וְכִפֶּ֣רvekhiperand he will make atonement Leviticus 16:18:6 ⧉עָלָ֑יוalavfor it Leviticus 16:18:7 ⧉וְלָקַ֞חvelakakhand he will take Leviticus 16:18:8 ⧉מִדַּ֤ם הַפָּר֙midam haparfrom the blood of the bull Leviticus 16:18:9 ⧉וּמִדַּ֣ם הַשָּׂעִ֔ירumidam hasaeerand from the blood of the goat Leviticus 16:18:10 ⧉וְנָתַ֛ן עַל־קַרְנ֥וֹת הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַvenatan alkarnot hammizbehakhand he will put it on the horns of the altar Leviticus 16:18:11 ⧉סָבִֽיב׃savivall around |
| 18. Formal Translation Then he shall go out to the altar that is before the LORD {Yahweh, Atonement Receiver}, and he shall make atonement for it. He shall take some of the blood of the bull and some of the blood of the goat and put it on the horns of the altar all around. |
| 18. Dynamic Translation Next he will come out to the altar before the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Forgiver} and cleanse it. Then he will take some of the bull’s blood and some of the goat’s blood and put it on all the horns of the altar around. |
