If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and fallen short of what is right. I cannot stand before your judgment on my own. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive you as my Lord and Savior. Forgive me, make me new, and teach me to live ready for your coming. Amen.

Lord, awaken your Church to live as people who truly believe you will come in glory. Where we have become casual about holiness, sober us; where we have delayed obedience, stir us to faithful deeds; where we have forgotten that you see every life, renew reverence and hope in us, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Awaken Your Church to Live Ready

Thank God that his coming is not random but righteous, and that no deed is hidden from him. Thank him that he judges with wisdom and fairness, and that his glory is good news for those who belong to him.

Thankful for Your Just Judgment

Pray by naming one area of your life where you want your actions to match your confession. Ask God to show you one change, one obedience, and one person who can help keep you faithful.

Pray for One Area of Integrity

Pray for people who are avoiding God, people burdened by guilt, and people trying to live honestly before him. Ask the Lord to draw them to Christ and give them courage to face his coming with peace.

For People Who Need to Face God Honestly

Lord, keep me awake to your coming. Let my private choices, public words, and daily habits line up with your will. Shape me into someone ready to answer to you with joy, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
