Lord, revive your Church to speak of Jesus with honesty, calm, and courage. Wake us from fear, hypocrisy, and silence. Make us faithful when our commitment is questioned, and let our lives point clearly to Christ, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, when I am asked about my faith, keep me from panic and from pretending. Give me a clear mind, a gentle spirit, and truthful words that honor Jesus, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray Before You Answer

Pray for the people who ask hard questions about Jesus: that they would hear a clear, gracious answer; that curiosity would become openness; and that pride or suspicion would not keep them from truth.

For Those Who Question Jesus

Thank you, Lord, that Jesus is not threatened by questions, taxes, or human pressure. Thank you that his authority is steady, and that his people can answer from that security.

Grateful for Christ's Authority
