If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I hear your truth and I know I have sinned. I have not bowed to you as I should, and I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and ask you to be my Lord. Teach me to hear you with faith and humility. Amen.

Receive the Lord Who Speaks

Lord, revive your church. Where we have grown casual, give us holy fear; where we have become proud, make us lowly; where we have stopped listening, make us quick to hear and quick to obey. Let your people tremble at your word and follow you with love, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Make Your People Reverent Again

Pray by naming one truth God has shown you, one place where you resist it, and one humble step you will take today.

Pray for a Listening Heart

Give thanks for a God who speaks with meaning and mercy, who calls his people to reverence, and who does not leave them guessing about how to respond.

Thanks for Speaking with Weight

Lord, I bring those who are frightened by what they have heard. Quiet their panic, steady their hearts, and lead them to trust you enough to bow before you and obey you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For Those Overwhelmed by Fear

Bring these before God: a slower ear, a softer posture, courage to submit, and readiness to obey when he speaks.
