Jesus looked at the people before speaking.

People can make this happen by themselves.

The verse removes any difference between people and God.

Pray, obey, and trust God to do what you cannot

Decide the situation is hopeless and stop

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Do what only you can do in my life and make me new. Amen.

Lord, Do What I Cannot Do

Lord, revive your Church when we have settled for human strength and small expectations. Wake us up to believe that what is impossible for us is possible with you. Make us humble, prayerful, and bold, and let our lives point to your power in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Us to Trust Your Power

Father, when I feel overwhelmed by what lies before me, steady my heart. Remind me that my limits are not yours, and that nothing is beyond your power. Give me peace to wait, obey, and trust you in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Peace for What Feels Too Hard

First name the situation that feels beyond you. Then ask God to show you the next faithful step, to give you courage to take it, and to remind you that his power is greater than your limits.

Pray About the One Hard Thing

Bring these to God: places where you have been depending on yourself; fears that make you think nothing can change; a desire to believe that God can do more than you can.

From Self-Reliance to Trust

Pray for someone who feels trapped by an impossible problem; ask God to open a way for them, to give them faith, and to use you to encourage them with hope.

Hope for Someone Stuck
