Father, I confess that I have resented your fairness when it did not match my effort. Forgive my grumbling and my need to be seen. Help me trust your wisdom and serve with a clean heart, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Pray for people who have carried heavy responsibilities for a long time: that God would strengthen them, honor their hidden work, and protect them from bitterness when others seem to receive the same reward.
