Lord, revive your Church from envy, rivalry, and the habit of measuring ourselves against one another. Make us glad in your generosity, faithful in our work, and free to rejoice when you bless others. Turn our complaining hearts into grateful servants, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, I confess that I have resented your fairness when it did not match my effort. Forgive my grumbling and my need to be seen. Help me trust your wisdom and serve with a clean heart, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Bring thanks for God's wise care, for the work he gives, for the grace that does not depend on our rank, and for the reminder that he treats people with generosity.

Thanks for Your Fairness

Pray for people who have carried heavy responsibilities for a long time: that God would strengthen them, honor their hidden work, and protect them from bitterness when others seem to receive the same reward.
