Give Caesar what is due and God what is due.

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and lived as if my life were my own. I need your mercy and your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as Lord. Take my whole life, and teach me to give to God what belongs to God. Amen.

My Life Belongs to You

Lord, revive your Church to give you what belongs to you: our worship, our trust, our obedience, and our lives. Deliver us from divided loyalties and empty religion. Make us faithful to you in public and private, and let the world see that you are Lord. in the name of Jesus. Amen.

An Undivided Church

Pray by naming the duties you owe to people, work, and authorities. Ask God for honesty in what is due, and ask him to show you where your first loyalty must rest.

Pray Over Your Obligations

Thank God that he gives a clear center when many claims compete for your life. Thank him that his rule does not erase ordinary responsibility, but orders it rightly.

Thank You for a Clear Center

Father, keep me from giving Caesar what belongs only to you, and from neglecting what I owe to others. Help me live with a clean conscience, steady honesty, and full devotion, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Integrity Before God and People

Pray for people in public life, that leaders would act justly, that citizens would be honest, and that believers would show respectful obedience without losing sight of God's claim on their lives.
