If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned, spoken carelessly, and trusted outward things instead of a changed heart. I turn from my sin and ask you to forgive me. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I confess you as Lord, and I ask you to make me truthful and whole before God. Thank you for receiving me. Amen.

A True Heart Before God

Lord, revive your Church to be honest in speech and faithful in every promise. Free us from empty religion and from using holy words as a cover for careless hearts. Make us reverent, dependable, and true before you and before the world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your People in Truth

Father, forgive me for the times I have spoken lightly, promised too quickly, or treated commitments as small things. Cleanse my heart from double-mindedness and teach me to mean what I say. Give me grace to live with integrity, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Forgive Careless Words

Give thanks that God cares about truth, reverence, and honest commitments. Thank him that he does not bless empty words, but calls his people into integrity and faithfulness.

Thanks for Truth That Matters

Pray by naming one promise, statement, or commitment you need to take more seriously. Ask God to help you remember it, honor it, and follow through with humility and courage.

Help Me Keep My Word

Pray for pastors, teachers, and all who speak in God's name to handle holy things carefully and truthfully. Pray also for anyone wounded by empty words to find healing, wise counsel, and fresh trust.
