Wait until fear disappears before doing anything

Keep the news private unless someone asks

Focus only on your own safety and leave the message to others

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and believe that you died for me and rose again. I confess you as Lord and ask you to lead my life. Bring me into your family and give me peace instead of fear. Amen.

Come to Jesus in Faith

Lord Jesus, revive your Church with courage and obedience. When we are afraid, speak peace over us; when you send us, make us quick to go; when you tell us to speak, make us faithful to tell. Wake us up to love your people and to trust your promise to meet us, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People to Obey and Go

Father, when fear rises in me, remind me of Jesus' calming word. Give me courage to take the next step you ask of me, and keep me from freezing in place, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Peace for the Afraid Heart

Begin by naming one fear honestly. Then ask Jesus for courage, and finally ask him to show you one person or one place where he is sending you next.

Pray for the Next Step

Give thanks for Jesus speaking peace into fear, for the promise of seeing him, and for the grace of belonging among his people. Thank God that his words send his followers forward with hope.

Gratitude for Jesus' Reassuring Word

Pray for people who are afraid, that Jesus would steady them; for believers who need courage to speak; and for those you know to hear and receive the hope he gives. Ask God to make his people faithful when he sends them.
