If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and I need your mercy. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for me and rose again. I believe you are Lord, and I welcome you into my life. Come near to me and make me yours. Amen.

Come Near and Save Me

Lord, revive your Church so that we meet the risen Jesus again with living worship. Break our distance, renew our joy, and teach us to come near with reverence and gladness. Let our praise be real, humble, and wholehearted, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Our Worship

Father, thank you that Jesus does not remain distant but comes to meet us. Thank you for the kindness of his greeting, the nearness of his presence, and the grace that leads us to worship. Help me receive him with gratitude today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Coming Near

Pray by naming one place where you have kept Jesus at a distance, then ask him for the grace to come closer, listen, and worship. You can end by thanking him for meeting you first.

Pray by Drawing Near

Pray for people who feel far from God, that the risen Jesus would meet them with peace. Ask for friends, family, and neighbors to recognize his presence and respond with worship.

For Those Who Need to Be Met

Bring these to God: a desire to move toward Jesus instead of away; a heart that holds reverence and closeness together; and a willingness to let worship shape your choices.
