Stay attentive to God's leading and expect temptation to be real

Assume hard times mean God has stopped guiding you

Try to avoid every hard place so obedience never feels costly

Rely only on your own strength and ignore the spiritual battle

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and gone my own way. I turn from my sin and from every false hope. I believe you died for me and rose again. I confess you as my Lord and Savior. Lead me by your Spirit, even through hard places, and keep me from temptation. Amen.

Follow Jesus in the Wilderness

Lord, revive your Church in seasons of testing. Teach us to follow your Spirit, to welcome obedience even when it feels like a wilderness, and to stand firm when the tempter comes. Make us watchful, humble, and faithful, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People in Hard Places

Father, thank you that your Spirit can lead your people even through hard seasons. Thank you that wilderness does not mean abandonment, and that testing can be met with your help. Give me gratitude and trust today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Leading

Father, when I am in a hard place, guard my mind and heart. Keep me alert to temptation, steady in obedience, and dependent on your Spirit rather than my own strength, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Guard Me from Temptation

Name the hard place you are in, ask the Father to show you where the Spirit is leading, and pray for one clear act of obedience and one temptation to resist today.
