He has already spoken these teachings to them

He has stopped speaking and is silent now

Listen carefully now and let his teaching guide your choices

Postpone obedience until a clearer sign comes later

Treat his words as useful memory, but not as present guidance

Prefer new ideas over what he has already said

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and gone my own way. I need your mercy and your truth. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord. Speak to me, keep me close to you, and lead my life from now on. Amen.

Receive the One Who Speaks

Lord, revive your church to love the words of Jesus while he is near. Awaken us from distraction, soften hard hearts, and make us quick to hear, remember, and obey what Christ has already taught. Let your people live as those who treasure his voice above every other voice, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Hear

Thank you, Lord, for speaking clearly to your disciples. Thank you that you do not leave us guessing, but give us truth while you are near. Give us grateful hearts that value every word you have already spoken.

Thank You for Speaking Clearly

Pray by naming one teaching of Jesus you want to hold onto, ask God to help you stay attentive to it, and ask for one simple step of obedience this week.

Help Me Hold on to Your Teaching

Bring these to God: someone who has heard Jesus' words but feels far from him; a friend who needs renewed attention to Christ's teaching; a church group that needs steady listening and obedient follow-through.

Others Who Need to Hear

Father, help me not to drift away from what Jesus has already said. Keep his words alive in me and make me ready to obey them today, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
