Choose a costly act of obedience that helps someone live in truth

Keep faith private and avoid any sacrifice that could serve others

Focus on your own purity while leaving other people unchanged

Make visible sacrifices mainly to show how serious you are

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as my Lord. Set me apart in your truth and make my life yours. Amen.

Receive the One Who Sets Apart

Lord, revive your Church to live set apart for you. Where we have blended in, cleanse us; where we have settled for appearances, bring us back to truth; where we have served ourselves, teach us self-giving love. Make us holy for the sake of others, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church in Truth

Pray by naming one area of your life that needs to be set apart, then ask God to show you one truth to obey and one compromise to leave behind this week. Ask him to help your choices bless someone else.

Pray Through One Area

Thank God for Jesus choosing self-giving consecration; thank him that his devotion was for your good; thank him that the truth can truly set people apart.

Thank You for Jesus' Devotion

Father, I pray for people around me who are confused, weary, or compromised. Set them apart by your truth, guard them from lies, and let my life serve them with the same self-giving care Jesus showed, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Set Others Apart in Truth

Bring to God a hidden compromise, a habit of self-protection, and any desire to look holy rather than be holy. Ask for courage to live for others' good and to let truth shape your words, choices, and relationships.
