Focus mainly on looking polished so other people will think well of you

Wait until you feel impressive before you offer yourself to God

Treat purification as something for specialists only

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and need your cleansing. I turn from my sin and trust that you died for my sins and rose again. I believe you are Lord, and I ask you to come into my life, make me clean, and set me apart for God. Thank you for saving me. Amen.

Make Me Clean, Lord Jesus

Lord, revive your Church to be clean, ready, and useful for your work. Wash away hidden sin, empty us of pride, and free us from empty religion. Make us a people set apart for your purposes, alive in holiness and humble obedience, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People to Be Ready

Pray by naming one area of your life that needs cleansing. Ask God to show you where outward appearance has hidden inward need, then ask him for one simple step of obedience today.

Ask for Cleansing in One Area

Thank God that he values ordinary things, that he cares about cleansing and order, and that he can set aside what seems common for his good purposes.

Give Thanks for God's Purposes

Pray for people carrying guilt, shame, or a deep sense of unworthiness. Ask God to cleanse them, restore their dignity, and help them know they are not beyond his mercy.

Pray for Those Longing to Be Made Clean

Father, I offer you my ordinary life. Cleanse what is unclean in me, and set me apart for your purposes. Make me ready to do your will, and keep me from empty religion, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
