After turning, Peter saw the disciple whom Jesus {Iesous, Faithful Lover} loved, who was following—the one who had also reclined at the supper upon His chest and had said, “Lord {Kyrios, Knowing Master}, who is the one betraying You?”
20. Dynamic Translation
Peter turned and caught sight of the disciple whom Jesus {Iesous, Devoted Teacher} loved, who was still following—the same one who had leaned back at the meal against His chest and had asked, “Lord {Kyrios, Trusted Master}, who is betraying You?”
