Listen carefully, seek the truth, and refuse to pass on the hostility

Stay silent about Jesus so no one gets upset

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and that I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as my Lord and Savior. When others reject you, teach me to belong to you. Amen.

Receive Jesus, the One They Rejected

Lord, revive your Church where fear has made us silent. When your Son is questioned and opposed, make us brave, truthful, and gentle. Give us hearts that do not join the crowd in suspicion, but stand for what is true and good. Awaken us to honor Jesus with our words and our lives, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Speak with Courage

Name one conversation where Jesus is spoken of with doubt or hostility. Ask God for calm, truthful words, and wisdom to listen before you speak. Then ask him for one clear response that honors Christ.

Pray for Discernment When You Hear Suspicion

Bring to God: fear of being associated with Jesus; the temptation to stay quiet when he is misunderstood; the need for courage to answer with grace instead of hiding.

Freedom from Fearful Silence

Pray for people who speak of Jesus with suspicion, that they would ask honest questions, hear the truth, and be softened by God rather than hardened by rumor.

Prayer for Those Who Misjudge Him

Father, thank you that the truth about your Son is not hidden forever. Thank you for calling me to listen carefully, love truth, and honor Jesus when others speak against him. Keep my heart steady and my words faithful, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
