They will receive twelve seats and share in judging Israel's twelve tribes

They will stand near the throne and watch while others decide

They will receive a crown of honor but no judging role

They will rule one tribe each, with no throne imagery

Keep following Jesus now, trusting him to set things right in his time

Seek the most visible place of authority, since followers are promised seats

Pause obedience until the future becomes clearer

Use the promise of future judgment to look down on people now

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and tried to rule my own life. I turn from my sin and need your mercy. I believe you died for me and rose again. I confess you as Lord and trust you as the coming King who will make all things new and judge with perfect justice. Make me yours and lead me in your kingdom. Amen.

Receive the Coming King

Lord, revive your Church to follow Jesus with steady loyalty. Make us hopeful in the renewal you promise, humble in responsibility, and ready for the day when the Son of Man takes his throne in glory. Let us live with patience, courage, and trust in your coming justice, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Up Your People for Your Coming Kingdom

Father, when your future justice feels far away, help me keep following Jesus without growing weary. Give me patience, steadiness, and joy while I wait for the day when he sets all things right, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Help Me Keep Following

Name one place where you long for things to be made right. Tell God what feels unfair, ask for patience while you keep following Jesus, and surrender the outcome to his coming rule.

Pray for One Unfair Place

Give thanks for the promise that Jesus sees faithful followers, calls them into his future, and pairs glory with justice in his kingdom.

Give Thanks for Future Honor

Bring before God any hunger for status or control. Ask him to make you content with faithful following, willing to serve well now, and ready to leave the final judgments to Jesus.
