1 Then the LORD {YHWH, Instruction Giver} spoke to Moses {Mosheh: chosen leader}, saying:
2 Command the sons of Israel and say to them, “My offering, my food for my fire-offerings {ishah: burnt gift}, my pleasing aroma, you shall be careful to bring near to me at its appointed time,” says the LORD {YHWH, Worship Recipient}.
3 And you shall say to them, “This is the offering by fire which you shall present to the LORD {YHWH, Covenant Lord}: two male lambs a year old, without blemish {temimim: perfect}, as a continual burnt offering each day.”
4 One lamb {keves: sacrificial lamb} you shall offer in the morning, and the second lamb you shall offer between the evenings {arbayim: twilight hours}.
5 And a tenth of an ephah of fine flour {solet: finely sifted grain} for a grain offering, mixed with a quarter of a hin of pressed oil {katit: specially crushed}.
6 A continual burnt offering, which is made on Mount Sinai for a pleasing aroma {re’ach: Fragrance of Worship}, a fire offering to the LORD {YHWH, Covenant Receiver}.
7 And its drink offering shall be a fourth of a hin {hin: liquid measure} for each lamb, and in the holy place you shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to the LORD {YHWH, Worship Recipient}.
8 And the second lamb you shall offer at twilight as the grain offering {minchat: ritual gift} of the morning and as its drink offering you shall offer a fire offering of a pleasing aroma to the LORD {YHWH, Worship Receiver}.
9 And on the Sabbath day two male one-year-old lambs without blemish {temimim: ritual perfection} and two tenths {esronim: a tenth of an ephah} of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil, and its drink offering.
10 The burnt offering of the Sabbath on its Sabbath shall be offered in addition to the continual burnt offering {tamid: perpetual offering} and its drink offering {nesekh: poured libation}.
11 And at the beginnings of your months you shall present a burnt offering to the LORD {YHWH, Recipient of Sacrifice}, two young bulls, one ram, and seven male lambs a year old, all unblemished {temimim: without blemish}.
12 And with each bull three-tenths of fine flour {solet: sifted wheat flour} mixed with oil as a grain offering {minchah: tribute offering}, and with each ram two-tenths of fine flour mixed with oil as a grain offering.
13 And a tenth part, a tenth part of fine flour as a grain offering, mixed with oil for each lamb—a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma {reach: scent of acceptance} and a fire offering to the LORD {YHWH, Sacrifice Recipient}.
14 And their drink offerings {nisakh: libation portion} shall be half a hin of wine for the bull, a third of a hin for the ram, and a quarter of a hin for the lamb. This is the burnt offering of the new moon {chodesh: beginning of the lunar month} for the months of the year.
15 And one male goat of the goats for a sin offering shall be offered to the LORD {YHWH, Sin Pardoner}, in addition to the continual burnt offering {hatamid: never-ceasing sacrifice} and its drink offering.
16 And in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, is the Passover {pesach: festival of deliverance} to the LORD {YHWH, Festival Recipient}.
17 And on the fifteenth day of this month, a festival {chag: appointed feast} shall be observed for seven days, and unleavened bread {matzot: bread without leaven} shall be eaten.
18 On the first day you shall keep a holy convocation {mikra-kodesh: sacred gathering}, and you shall do no ordinary work {avodah: laborious work}.
19 And you shall bring near a fire-offering, a burnt-offering to the LORD {YHWH, Worship Recipient}: two bulls from the herd, one ram, and seven lambs a year old; they shall be without blemish {temimim: flawless} for you.
20 And their grain offering {minchah: sacrificial gift} shall be of fine flour mixed with oil; three-tenths of an ephah {efah: dry volume measure} you shall offer for a bull and two-tenths for a ram.
21 You shall make a tenth part {issaron: dry measure} for each lamb, for the seven {shivat: full allotment} lambs.
22 And one male goat as a sin offering {chatat: purification from sin} to make atonement {lekapper: reparative covering} for you.
23 Apart from {milvad: in addition to} the burnt offering of the morning, which is for the continual {tamid: perpetual offering} burnt offering, you shall perform these.
24 In this way you shall offer each day for seven days a food offering by fire—a pleasing aroma to the LORD {YHWH, Worship Recipient}—in addition to the continual burnt offering and its drink offering {nesek: libation rite}.
25 And on the seventh day there shall be a sacred assembly {mikra: call to worship} for you; you shall not perform any labor {avodah: servile work}.
26 And on the day of the firstfruits, when you present a new grain offering to the LORD {YHWH, Covenant Provider}, during the Feast of Weeks {shavuot: festival of sevens}, you shall hold a holy convocation, and you shall do no work of service.
27 And you shall present a burnt offering as a pleasing aroma to the LORD {YHWH, Worship Recipient}: two young bulls {parim: herd animals}, one ram, and seven year-old lambs.
28 And their grain offering {minchah: tribute offering} shall be fine flour mixed with oil: three-tenths of an ephah for each bull {par: large sacrificial animal} and two-tenths of an ephah for the one ram.
29 A tenth part {isaron: measuring portion} for each lamb {keves: individual portion}, for the seven lambs.
30 One male goat {se’ir: mature male goat} from the goats to make atonement {lekapper: cover guilt} for you.
31 Besides {millevad: additional offering} the regular burnt offering and its grain offering, you shall present these—they shall be without defect {temimim: without defect} for you, and their drink offerings.
