Go to them privately, speak clearly, and point them to Jesus without making a show of it

Say it in front of other people so they feel pressure to respond

Drop a vague hint and hope they work out the meaning later

Keep the conversation general so the person does not feel singled out

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I have sinned and I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and trust you as my Lord and Savior. Call me to yourself, lead my life, and make me yours. Amen.

Answer the Personal Call

Lord, revive your church so we stop hiding behind crowds and start listening for your voice. Make us gentle, clear, and ready to call people personally toward you. Let our lives carry your nearness and your invitation into the places where people are hurting and waiting, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Up Your Church to Your Voice

Pray by naming one person, asking God for a private and respectful opening, and asking for words that point clearly to Jesus rather than to yourself.

Thank God for Jesus' nearness, for calling individuals personally, for speaking with dignity in private, and for making his invitation clear.

Pray for: one person by name; openness to Jesus' call; courage to speak plainly and kindly; and a timely moment to share the invitation.

For Someone Who Needs to Hear

Father, when I feel overlooked, remind me that you are near and that you call me personally. Quiet my fear, help me step away from noise, and give me grace to respond when you speak, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
