If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I come to you needing mercy. I admit that I have sinned, and I confess that I have hidden in fear and chosen silence when I should have honored you. I believe you died for my sins and rose again from the dead. I turn from my sin and from every way I have resisted you. I receive you as my Lord and Savior, and I ask you to forgive me, lead me, and make my life yours. Amen.

Come to Jesus in Honesty

Lord, your people have too often been quiet where we should have been clear. Wake your Church from fear, break the power of intimidation, and give us courage to speak of Jesus openly with wisdom and love. Make us faithful in public and in private, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Wake Your Church to Speak

Father, when fear has made me hesitant to speak, loosen its grip on me. Give me a calm spirit, clear words, and a humble boldness that honors Jesus without shame. Help me obey you instead of hiding, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Free Me from Fear

Name the place where fear has made you silent. Ask God for courage to speak about Jesus or do what is right with gentleness, and ask him to give you one respectful sentence to use today.

Praying for One Hard Conversation

Pray for a friend, coworker, or classmate who feels pressure to stay silent about faith; for open doors to speak at the right time; and for protection, wisdom, and peace when they do.

For Those Under Pressure

Bring these to God: moments when he has already helped you speak with courage; people who encouraged you instead of shaming you; and gratitude that fear does not have the last word.

Thankful for Courage Already Given
