1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvelous, seven angels having seven plagues—the last ones—because in them the wrath of God {Theos, Holy Judge} was completed {etelesthe: brought to fulfillment}.
2 And I saw what looked like a sea of glass {hualinen: crystal-like purity} mixed with fire, and those who had conquered the beast and its image and the number of its name, standing on the sea of glass, holding harps of God {Theos, Giver of Heavenly Music}.
3 And they sing the song {oden: hymn of deliverance} of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb {Arnion, Slain Redeemer}, saying, “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God the Almighty {Kyrios Theos Pantokrator, Righteous Deliverer}; just and true are Your ways, O King of the ages {Basileus ton aionon, Eternal Ruler}.”
4 Who will not fear You, Lord {Kyrie, Holy Judge}, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy; for all the nations will come and worship before You, because Your righteous acts {dikaiomata: just decrees} have been revealed.
5 And after these things I saw, and the temple {naos: inner sanctuary} of the tabernacle {skene: sacred tent} of the testimony in heaven was opened.
6 And the seven angels {angeloi: ministering messengers} who had the seven plagues came out from the temple {naos: inner sanctuary}, clothed in pure, bright linen and girded around their chests with golden sashes.
7 And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls, full of the wrath of God {Theos, Eternal Judge}, who lives {zon: unceasingly existing} forever and ever.
8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God {Theos, Overwhelming Presence} and from His power, and no one was able to enter the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were completed {telesthosin: final completion}.
