L’expression ʾel-tirhaqah {אֶל־תִּרְהָ֤קָה | ʾel-tir-ha-qāh} introduit l’énonciateur de l’information comme complément d’objet indirect. Le syntagme infinitif leʾemor hinneh {לֵאמֹ֔ר הִנֵּ֥ה | le-ʾemor hin-nēh} prépare le discours direct. La séquence yatsaʾ lehillaḥem ittakh {יָצָ֖א לְהִלָּחֵ֣ם אִתָּ֑ךְ | yā-ṣāʾ le-hil-la-ḥem it-takh} exprime l’intention offensive.
