Release anxious control and bring your burdens to Jesus

Hold tighter to control until every detail feels settled

Put Jesus aside until you have solved the problem yourself

Keep your faith private and separate from ordinary decisions

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I know that I have sinned and lived apart from your will. I cannot save myself, and I need your mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as Lord. You came from God and you lead us back to the Father; please take my life and make it yours. Amen.

Come to Jesus in Faith

Lord, revive your Church with fresh confidence in Jesus. Where we have been anxious and self-reliant, teach us to rest in his authority, to trust that nothing is beyond his care, and to live as people who belong to you and are moving toward you. Wake us, humble us, and make us bold and faithful in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church's Confidence

Give thanks for Jesus, whose authority is complete, whose origin is in God, and whose path leads to God. Thank God that his life is not random, his power is not partial, and his care is not uncertain.

Thanks for Jesus' Authority

Pray by naming one burden, one decision, or one fear you keep trying to control. Ask the Father to place it in Jesus' hands, and ask for grace to trust his care with the outcome today.

Release One Burden

Pray for someone who feels powerless or unsure of the future. Ask God to show them Jesus' strong care, his clear origin from God, and the peace of belonging to him.

Pray for the Weary and Unsettled

Father, teach me to live with steady trust that Jesus holds what I cannot hold. Free me from anxious grasping, and help me obey with peace because he comes from you and is going to you. Form my heart to rest in his care and follow him gladly, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Teach Me to Trust Your Hands
