Revelation 10TAB

Then I saw another mighty angel descending from heaven, draped in a cloud, with a rainbow resting on his head; his face shone like the sun {helios: radiant brilliance} and his feet glowed like pillars of fire {pyros: consuming intensity}.

He held a little scroll {biblaridion: small written document} in his hand, already opened, and placed his right foot on the sea {thalassa: surging waters} and his left on the land.

And he cried out with a loud voice {phone: overpowering sound}, like a lion {leon: fierce strength} when it roars, and when he cried out, the seven thunders uttered their own voices.

When the seven thunders spoke, I was ready to write, but I heard a voice from heaven {ouranos: divine realm} saying, “Seal {sphragizo: secure from disclosure} what the seven thunders spoke, and do not write it.”

Then the angel {angelos: divine herald} whom I saw standing on the sea {thalassa: chaotic waters} and on the land lifted his right hand toward heaven.

And he swore by the Living One {zōnti: ever-living ruler}, who lives for the ages of the ages, who created the heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there would be no further delay {chronos: remaining time}.

But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery {mysterion: hidden purpose} of God {Theos, Promise Fulfiller} will be completed just as He announced to His own servants, the prophets.

Then the voice {phōnē: Audible Message} that I had heard from heaven spoke to me again and said, “Go and take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel {angelos: Heavenly Messenger} who is standing on the sea and on the land.”

And I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little scroll {biblaridion: small prophetic scroll}.” And he said to me, “Take it and eat it up; it will make your belly {koilian: inner being} bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”

And I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it, and in my mouth it was sweet as honey {meli: bee honey}; but after I ate it, my belly {koilia: inner parts} became bitter.

And they said to me, “It is necessary for you to prophesy {propheteusai: speak inspired message} again concerning many peoples {laois: diverse ethnic groups} and nations and languages and kings.”
