1 With all my heart I will give thanks to the LORD {YHWH, Worthy Of Praise}; I will speak of all Your wonders {niflotekha: marvelous deeds}.
2 I will rejoice and celebrate in You {Elohim, Joyful Refuge}; I will make music in praise of Your name, O Most High {Elyon, Supreme Ruler}.
3 As my enemies turn back, they stumble {yikashelu: lose footing} and perish in Your {YHWH, Righteous Judge} presence.
4 For You {YHWH, Faithful Judge} have upheld my justice and my cause; You have taken Your seat on the throne and judged with righteousness {tsedeq: covenantal justice}.
5 You {YHWH, Righteous Judge} have rebuked the nations; You have made the wicked {rasha: morally corrupt} perish; You have erased their name forever and ever.
6 The enemy’s destruction has reached its end in lasting ruins; the cities You {YHWH, Righteous Judge} uprooted have vanished from memory {zikhram: lasting reputation}.
7 But the LORD {YHWH, Eternal King} remains seated forever; He has set His throne in place for judgment {mishpat: legal justice}.
8 And He {YHWH, Universal Judge} will judge the world with righteousness {tzedek: moral rightness}; He will give just decisions for the peoples in uprightness.
9 And the LORD {YHWH, Steadfast Refuge} will be a stronghold for the crushed, a stronghold when trouble {batzarah: severe hardship} closes in.
10 And those who know {yod'ei: experiential recognition} Your name will trust in You, for You have not forsaken those who seek You, O LORD {YHWH, Faithful Guardian}.
11 Sing praises to the LORD {YHWH, Enthroned Sovereign}, who sits enthroned in Zion; proclaim among the peoples His deeds {alilotav: saving actions}.
12 For He {YHWH, Righteous Avenger} who avenges blood {damim: judicial bloodshed} keeps the afflicted in mind; He does not forget the cry of the afflicted and humble.
13 Be gracious to me, O LORD {YHWH, Merciful Deliverer}; look upon my affliction {onyai: deep suffering} caused by those who hate me, O One who lifts me up from the gates of death.
14 So that I may recount all Your {YHWH, Victorious Guardian} praises in the gates of the daughter of Zion, I will rejoice in Your salvation {yeshuah: decisive victory}.
15 The nations have sunk {tave’u: overwhelmed in judgment} into the pit they made; in the net they hid, their foot has been caught {nilkedah: ensnared by consequence}.
16 The LORD {YHWH, Just Judge} is made known by the judgment {mishpat: Judicial Decision} He carries out; in the work of his own hands the wicked is snared. Higgaion. Selah.
17 The wicked will return to Sheol {lisholah: realm of the dead}, and so will all the nations that forget God {Elohim, Righteous Judge}.
18 For the needy {evyon: one lacking resources} will not always be forgotten; the hope of the poor {aniyyim: those afflicted} will not perish forever.
19 Arise, LORD {YHWH, Defending Judge}; do not let man prevail. Let the nations be judged before Your face {panekha: direct divine presence}.
20 Set terror upon them, O LORD {YHWH, Righteous Judge}; let the nations know they are mortals {enosh: frail human beings}. Selah.
