16 Greet one another with a holy kiss {philema: fellowship sign}. All the churches of Christ {Christos, Unifying Lord} greet you.
17 Now I urge you, brothers, keep watch over those who produce divisions {dichostasias: separations within community} and lay stumbling-blocks {skandala: obstacles to faith} that oppose the teaching you learned, and turn away from them.
18 For people like that do not serve our Lord Christ {Kyrios Christos, True Sovereign Master}, but serve their own belly, and through smooth talk {chrestologia: persuasive speech} and flattery they deceive the hearts of the innocent.
19 For the report of your obedience has gone out to all, so I rejoice on your behalf; but I want you to be wise with respect to what is good, and innocent {akeraious: unmixed innocence} concerning evil {kakon: harmful evil}.
20 But the God {Theos, Peace-Giving Victor} of peace will crush Satan under your feet soon. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ {Kyrios Iesous Christos, Faithful Giver} be with you.
21 Timothy, my fellow worker {synergos: one who works together}, greets you, and Lucius and Jason and Sosipater, my kinsmen {syngeneis: close relatives}, greet you.
22 I, Tertius {Tertios: Paul's secretary}, who wrote this letter, greet you in the Lord {Kyrios, Bond Of Fellowship}.

26 But now, in accordance with the commandment of the eternal God {Theos, Timeless Ruler}, it has been revealed through the prophetic Scriptures and made known to all the nations for the obedience of faith {hypakoe: responsive submission}.
