Genesis 10 — Hebrew Interlinear

וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ תּוֹלְדֹ֣ת בְּנֵי־נֹ֔חַ שֵׁ֖ם חָ֣ם וָיָ֑פֶת וַיִּוָּלְד֥וּ לָהֶ֛ם בָּנִ֖ים אַחַ֥ר הַמַּבּֽוּל׃

and these are the lineages of the sons of Noah Shem Ham and Japheth sons were born to them after the flood

בְּנֵ֣י יֶ֔פֶת גֹּ֣מֶר וּמָג֔וֹג וּמָדַ֖י וְיָוָ֣ן וְתֻבָ֑ל וּמֶ֖שֶׁךְ וְתִירָֽס׃

sons of Japheth Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras

וּבְנֵ֖י גֹּ֑מֶר אַשְׁכֲּנַ֥ז וְרִיפַ֖ת וְתֹגַרְמָֽה׃

and sons of Gomer Ashkenaz and Riphath and Togarmah

וּבְנֵ֥י יָוָ֖ן אֱלִישָׁ֣ה וְתַרְשִׁ֑ישׁ כִּתִּ֖ים וְדֹדָנִֽים׃

and the sons of Javan Elishah and Tarshish Kittim and Dodanim

מֵ֠אֵלֶּה נִפְרְד֞וּ אִיֵּ֤י הַגּוֹיִם֙ בְּאַרְצֹתָ֔ם אִ֖ישׁ לִלְשֹׁנ֑וֹ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם בְּגוֹיֵהֶֽם׃

from these coastlands of the nations were separated in their lands according to their clans in their nations each one according to his language

וּבְנֵ֖י חָ֑ם כּ֥וּשׁ וּמִצְרַ֖יִם וּפ֥וּט וּכְנָֽעַן׃

and the sons of Ham Cush and Egypt and Put and Canaan

וּבְנֵ֣י כ֔וּשׁ סְבָא֙ וַֽחֲוִילָ֔ה וְסַבְתָּ֥ה וְרַעְמָ֖ה וְסַבְתְּכָ֑א וּבְנֵ֥י רַעְמָ֖ה שְׁבָ֥א וּדְדָֽן׃

and sons of Cush Seba and Havilah and Sabtah and Raamah and Sabteca and sons of Raamah Sheba and Dedan

וְכ֖וּשׁ יָלַ֣ד אֶת־נִמְרֹ֑ד ה֣וּא הֵחֵ֔ל לֽ͏ִהְי֥וֹת גִּבֹּ֖ר בָּאָֽרֶץ׃

and Cush begot Nimrod he began to be a mighty one in the earth

הֽוּא־הָיָ֥ה גִבֹּֽר־צַ֖יִד לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה עַל־כֵּן֙ יֵֽאָמַ֔ר כְּנִמְרֹ֛ד גִּבּ֥וֹר צַ֖יִד לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

he was a mighty hunter in the presence of the LORD for this reason it is said like Nimrod mighty hunter in the presence of the LORD

וַתְּהִ֨י רֵאשִׁ֤ית מַמְלַכְתּוֹ֙ בָּבֶ֔ל וְאֶ֖רֶךְ וְאַכַּ֣ד וְכַלְנֵ֑ה בְּאֶ֖רֶץ שִׁנְעָֽר׃

the outset of his kingdom was Babel and Erech and Akkad and Calneh in the land of Shinar

מִן־הָאָ֥רֶץ הַהִ֖וא יָצָ֣א אַשּׁ֑וּר וַיִּ֙בֶן֙ אֶת־נִ֣ינְוֵ֔ה וְאֶת־רְחֹבֹ֥ת עִ֖יר וְאֶת־כָּֽלַח׃

from the land that went out Asshur built Nineveh and Rehoboth city and Calah

וְֽאֶת־רֶ֔סֶן בֵּ֥ין נִֽינְוֵ֖ה וּבֵ֣ין כָּ֑לַח הִ֖וא הָעִ֥יר הַגְּדֹלָֽה׃

and Resen it is between Nineveh and Calah great the city

וּמִצְרַ֡יִם יָלַ֞ד אֶת־לוּדִ֧ים וְאֶת־עֲנָמִ֛ים וְאֶת־לְהָבִ֖ים וְאֶת־נַפְתֻּחִֽים׃

and Mitsrayim fathered Ludim and Anamim and Lehavim and Naphtuhim

וְֽאֶת־פַּתְרֻסִ֞ים וְאֶת־כַּסְלֻחִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָצְא֥וּ מִשָּׁ֛ם פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים וְאֶת־כַּפְתֹּרִֽים׃

and Pathrusim and Casluhim from there who Philistines {they} came out and Caphtorim

וּכְנַ֗עַן יָלַ֛ד אֶת־צִידֹ֥ן בְּכֹר֖וֹ וְאֶת־חֵֽת׃

and Canaan begot Sidon his firstborn and Heth

וְאֶת־הַיְבוּסִי֙ וְאֶת־הָ֣אֱמֹרִ֔י וְאֵ֖ת הַגִּרְגָּשִֽׁי׃

and the Jebusite and the Amorite and the Girgashite

וְאֶת־הֽ͏ַחִוִּ֥י וְאֶת־הֽ͏ַעַרְקִ֖י וְאֶת־הַסִּינִֽי׃

and the Hivites and the Arkites and the Sinites

וְאֶת־הֽ͏ָאַרְוָדִ֥י וְאֶת־הַצְּמָרִ֖י וְאֶת־הֽ͏ַחֲמָתִ֑י וְאַחַ֣ר נָפֹ֔צוּ מִשְׁפְּח֖וֹת הֽ͏ַכְּנַעֲנִֽי׃

and the Arvadite and the Zemarite and the Hamathite and afterward clans of the Canaanite were scattered

וֽ͏ַיְהִ֞י גְּב֤וּל הֽ͏ַכְּנַעֲנִי֙ מִצִּידֹ֔ן בֹּאֲכָ֥ה גְרָ֖רָה עַד־עַזָּ֑ה בֹּאֲכָ֞ה סְדֹ֧מָה וַעֲמֹרָ֛ה וְאַדְמָ֥ה וּצְבֹיִ֖ם עַד־לָֽשַׁע׃
